Charnwood College is located on Thorpe Hill in Loughborough.

History

Charnwood College provides an excellent all-through education for students aged 11–19 across Loughborough. It was officially launched in Summer 2012 by bringing together the former Burleigh Community College and Garendon High School to create one college providing seamless education. It was the first time two schools had come together in Leicestershire.

The college offers all-through education for 11-19 year olds.

Campus

Charnwood College has a large 50 acre campus, with extensive sports facilities including a swimming pool, two gymnasiums, two work-out gyms, a dry play pitch and three multisports halls. It also has multiple specialist teaching blocks and extensive IT equipment. There is also an off campus boarding house, called Field House which attracts students from around the world.
