Charlotte Lyon-Bowes, Lady Glamis

Charlotte Lyon-Bowes, Lady Glamis (née Grimstead) (22 January 1797 – 19 January 1881) was a daughter of Joseph Valentine Grimstead, of Ewood Park and Merry Hall, and Charlotte Jane Sarah Walsh.

She married Thomas Lyon-Bowes, Lord Glamis, only son of Thomas Lyon-Bowes, 11th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne and Mary Elizabeth Louisa Rodney Carpenter, on 21 December 1820 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England.

Her children were:

Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (21 July 1824 – 16 February 1904)

Arthur Lyon-Bowes, died in infancy
Frances Lyon (d. 27 January 1903), married Hugh Charles Trevanion
Charlotte Lyon (15 May 1826 – 22 October 1844)
