Charles Edwin Irwin (February 15, 1869 in Clinton, Illinois – September 21, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois), is a former professional baseball player who played third base in the Major Leagues from 1893 to 1902. He would play for the Chicago Colts, Cincinnati Reds, and Brooklyn Superbas of the National League.
Irwin died when he was hit by a bus in Chicago.[citation needed]
