Charles P. Smith

Charles P. Smith (born June 18, 1926) is an American Democratic politician.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Smith graduated from Madison West High School, in Madison, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. In 1950, he graduated from Milton College and was a company production supervisor. In 1952–1953, Smith served on the Dane County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors. He served as Wisconsin State Treasurer 1971–1991.[1]
