Charles Jacques Villeré

Charles Jacques Villeré (1828 January 7, 1899) was a prominent Louisiana politician who served in the Confederate States Congress for two terms during the American Civil War.

He was born in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana. He served in the Louisiana State Legislature in 1854. During the Civil War, he was an officer in the Confederate States Army. He was elected to the First Confederate Congress and the Second Confederate Congress.
