Charles Dale (born November 28, 1963) is a Welsh actor who is well known for playing Dennis Stringer in Coronation Street, Gary "Chef" Alcock in The Lakes and Clive Eustace in The Eustace Bros..
Since November 2007 Dale has portrayed porter Mackenzie 'Big Mac' Chalker in the long-running BBC TV series Casualty.
He has also made appearances in Lovejoy, Soldier Soldier, Bramwell, A Touch of Frost, Touching Evil III, The Bill, At Home with the Braithwaites, Burnside, Steel River Blues, Where the Heart Is, Holby City, Spaced and Rocket Man, as well as playing Steve Lewis in BBC Wales' Belonging.
