Charles Boateng (born 14 December 1989 in Mampong) is a Ghanaian footballer.

Career

Boateng began his career by Nania F.C. and plays with his team by the Youth Cup in Altstetten 2004 and 2005, he was with his team in the Final.[1] Boateng was from January 2007 to January 2008 on loan by Tema Youth and was member of the Ghana Premier League All Star team 2007.[2] He moved in January 2008 from Nania F.C. to Dijon FCO, formerly was in June 2007 on trial at Dijon FCO.[3]

He was one of the player who was banned from the Ghana Division 2 after the Match fixing Scandal with Nania F.C. and Okwawu United.[4] After three seasons with Dijon FCO, the 20-year old Ghanese midfielder signed on 14 June 2010 for FC Rouen.[5]

International

He also played for Ghana U17 team at 2005 FIFA U-17 World Championship.
