Charles Ashe Windham

Sir Charles Ashe Windham (b. 10 Oct. 1810 at Felbrigg, Norfolk, England - d. 2 Feb. 1870 at Jacksonville, Florida, United States) was a military officer who became famous in the Battle of the Great Redan during the Crimean War. He became known as the "Hero of the Redan".
