Charlene Mae R. Consolacion, also known as Charlene Consolacion (born December 28, 1988), is a full-blooded Filipina actress, singer, dancer, model, stage actress, and host. She is a former student in the most prestigious University in the Philippines, University of the Philippines, Diliman, (UPD). Currently, she is studying in the University of California, Davis.

Biography

She is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Consolacion and has a younger brother, John Consolacion. At an early age, she has been actively performing on stage and in film. She had shown an exceptional talent in singing, dancing, hosting, and especially in acting. Her shot to stardom began when she started singing and dancing in a noon-time television show, starring in sitcoms and drama series, Basta's Kasama Kita, for which she received a best supporting actress award by the Young Critics Circle in 2004. She is officially discovered by a talent manager when she was 14, and she has become an endorser/model of clothing lines and a portrait company. Soon after, she worked at ABS-CBN talent center, and became part of their artists.

In 2006, she studied Political Science/Criminal Justice and Theatre Arts at City College of San Francisco.

Currently, Political Science University of California, Davis.

Career

Even if she had many appearances on television shows and movies, it was only in early 2004 when she explored modeling. Since then, she became the main endorser and the model on high end fashion lines. Few of her biggest modelling breaks are in Opustalent Agency, BCNY International Couture, BNY clothing, Rotech Arts and Frames Company, Forever 21 Philippines, Fashion 21, and Ever Bilena Cosmetics. She had also been part of the MTB fresh girls who dance, host and sing in a noon-time television show. Wanting to concentrate on her study, she took a break from the world of showbiz.
