Chao'an (Chinese Postal Map Romanisation: Chaoan; Chinese: 潮安; pinyin: Cháo'ān) is a district of Chaozhou City in eastern Guangdong Province. It was Chao'an County until June 2013, when it became a district.[1]

It has an area of 1238.77 square kilometers and a population of 1,076,500.[2] It is under the jurisdiction of Chaozhou prefecture-level city.
