Chandanwadi, Mumbai

Coordinates: 18°56′46″N 72°49′33″E / 18.946132°N 72.825736°E / 18.946132; 72.825736 Chandanwadi is a neighbourhood in Mumbai. It is the area around Marine Lines most famous for the Chandanwadi electric crematorium. Chandan means sandalwood in Marathi/Sanskrit.

The street was used in the famous song "Govinda Aale Re" picturising Shammi Kapoor from the 1963 film Bluff Master.[1]
