Champapet is a residential suburb Hyderabad, India. It is known for presence of many function halls. This was a small village until 1990s, but has grown due to its proximity to the city.[1]

Commercial area

Champapet simply it was called as Garden street Road.The choice for shops at Champapet is very good. This is a major hub for shopping for neighbouring colonies

There are some good function halls in this area like SN Reddy Gardens, Manda Bal Reddy Gardens, Balaji Gardens, Yadava Reddy Gardens, Minerva Gardens, Vijaya Gardens etc. and are quite popular for weddings and parties.

Transport

Champapet is connected by buses run by APSRTC, since midhani Depot is close by, it is well connected.and it is even connected by IBRAHIM PATNAM & HAYATH NAGAR bus depot.

There are many schools catering to all budgets like Triveni High School, Brilliant grammar high school, S't Mary's high school bhashyam public school, Sri Sai Kasturi School etc.

Colonies in and around Champapet

Reddy colony,Durga Bhavani nagar colony, Raji Reddy nagar, Anji Reddy Nagar, RTC colony, Balaji Nagar, Sri Balaji Nagar, Brundavan nagar Colony.The most famous and one of the oldest temples called karmanghat hanuman temple is just adjacent to champapet.

it has a huge number of car decors like sn car decors,swaghat car decors and sri sai car decors etc.

hotels and theatres

Theatres like Indra, Nagendra, Sri lakshmi which are located in karmanghat are very close to Champapet. They are located just adjacent to Nagarjun Sagar road. Yadagiri theatre is also little over one kilometer away from Champapet 'X' roads. This is on route towards Lab Quarters. Champapet has a large number of hotels like Baluchi, Green Bawarchi,Swaghat grand and Swaghat east court etc.
