Chafe (or Tsafe) is a Local Government Area in Zamfara State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Chafe at11°56′00″N 6°54′00″E / 11.93333°N 6.90000°E.
It has an area of 1,698 km² and a population of 266,008 at the 2006 census.
The postal code of the area is 880.[1]
