The Cerna River or Cerna Hunedoreană River or Cerna Ardeleană River ( Hungarian: Cserna-patak ) is a tributary of the Mureş River in Transylvania, Romania. Its name both in Romanian and Hungarian languages originates from a Slav language, meaning "black (water)".
