Central Malacca is a district in the state of Malacca, Malaysia. It is administrated by the two local authorities Historical Malacca City Council or Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) and Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council or Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya (MPHTJ) . The capital of Malacca state, Malacca City, is in this district. This district is the major destination of tourists in Malacca as most historical spots are situated within it.
