Central Election Committee

The Central Election Committee is the powerful committee of the AICC entrusted with the final selection of candidates for the various state and national elections across India^{[citation needed]}re. It is presided by the Congress President and includes the Prime Minister of India and other senior members of the Indian National Congress Party.
