The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is a progressive[1] economic policy think-tank. Based in Washington, DC, the American CEPR has no relation to the British Centre for Economic Policy Research.[2] CEPR was founded in 1999 by economists Dean Baker and Mark Weisbrot.[3] Its staff includes John Schmitt.[4]
