Cavezzo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 45 km northwest of Bologna and about 20 km northeast of Modena. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,072 and an area of 26.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Cavezzo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Motta and Disvetro.
Cavezzo borders the following municipalities: Carpi, Medolla, Mirandola, Novi di Modena, San Possidonio, San Prospero.
