Cavan Spencer Kendall McCarthy (22 May 1942 - 29 October 1999) was a British actor. He acted in many television series, including Dr. Who in the role of Achilles and in films Eureka and Sexy Beast.

Kendall was the paternal half-brother of actress Kay Kendall. He was born to Terry Kendall and Dora Spencer^[1] in Clapham, London and died of cancer in Gloucestershire at the age of 57.^[2]
