Catherine Jacob (born 16 December 1956 in Paris)[1] is a French actress. She won the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in Life Is a Long Quiet River (1988), and has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in Tatie Danielle (1990), Merci la vie (1991) and Neuf mois (1994). Jacob has acted in movies such as My Father the Hero, released in 1991, Les Braqueuses (1994), in which she portrayed Cécile, and J'ai faim!!! (2001)
