Castle of Owls (忍者秘帖・梟の城 Ninja Hichō Fukuro no Shiro) is a 1963 ninja film directed by Eiichi Kudō starring Ryūtarō Ōtomo and Minoru Ōki. The film was written on the basis of Ryōtarō Shiba's novel, Fukurō no Shiro. In 1999, it was remade as Owls' Castle by Masahiro Shinoda. The remake is much more known than the original film.[1]
