Castelvetro Piacentino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 130 km northwest of Bologna and about 25 km east of Piacenza.
Castelvetro Piacentino borders the following municipalities: Cremona, Gerre de' Caprioli, Monticelli d'Ongina, Spinadesco, Stagno Lombardo, Villanova sull'Arda.
It has a railway station on the junction of the lines from Cremona to Fidenza and to Piacenza.
