Castelnovo del Friuli (Friulian: Cjastelgnûf) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 90 km northwest of Trieste and about 30 km northeast of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 928 and an area of 22.6 km².[1]
Castelnovo del Friuli borders the following municipalities: Clauzetto, Pinzano al Tagliamento, Tramonti di Sotto, Travesio, Vito d'Asio.
