Castelmarte (Castèll Mart in local language) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 40 km north of Milan and about 12 km east of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,293 and an area of 1.9 km².[1]
Castelmarte borders the following municipalities: Canzo, Caslino d'Erba, Erba, Ponte Lambro, Proserpio.
