Casey McPherson (born September 15, 1978 in Lake Jackson, Texas) is a singer/songwriter based in Austin, Texas. He is currently the frontman of the band Alpha Rev[1] and formerly sang in the band Endochine.
Casey grew up in Jones Creek, Texas where he was home-schooled and classically trained on the piano for twelve years. He taught himself to play guitar as a child, being left-handed he discovered that the instrument only worked when he played it upside down.
As of January 2011 he is involved in a project called Flying Colors with ex-Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, guitarist Steve Morse and bassist Dave LaRue of the Dixie Dregs, and keyboardist Neal Morse, formerly of Spock's Beard.[2]
