Cascade is a sports manufacturer based in Liverpool, New York. It manufacturers both youth and men's lacrosse helmets, and women's lacrosse/field hockey eyewear. The company was founded by Bill Brine (part of the Brine family that founded Brine, Corp.) in 1986. It currently has 4 lines of helmets for men's lacrosse: CS (youth), CPV, CPX-R and PRO7. The PRO7 and CPX-R have patented Seven Technology, the most advanced technology in protection against concussions. For women's lacrosse and field hockey it currently has 4 lines of eyewear: IRIS, MiniPro, PolyPro and PolyAir. The Iris and the MiniPro both meet the standard required by NFHS for field hockey. Cascade helmets are the "Official Helmet of the MLL" and the helmet worn by 11 of the last 15 NCAA Division 1 Champions (since 1996).

In 2012, Bauer acquired Cascade.[1]

The Messier Project

In October 2009, in partnership with Mark Messier, Cascade released the M11 hockey helmet with the same patented Seven Technology found in the PRO7 and CPX-R.
