Cartosio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km southeast of Turin and about 40 km southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 782 and an area of 16.7 km2 (6.4 sq mi).[1]
Cartosio borders the following municipalities: Castelletto d'Erro, Cavatore, Malvicino, Melazzo, Montechiaro d'Acqui, Pareto, and Ponzone.
