History

Cartoon Network launched in the Netherlands on 17 September 1993. Time-sharing with TNT Classic Movies. It started a 24-hours feed in July 1997.[4]

In 2001 the Dutch version stopped and was replaced by the Pan-European version. The airtime shortened. From then on it broadcast from 6AM till 10PM.[5]

It relaunched as a 24-hours channel on 12 January 2009.[6]
