Cartoon Network is a Dutch TV channel which primarily airs animated programming in the Netherlands and Belgium.[2] This version is available in the Dutch and English languages.[3] Some providers offer the Dutch language only.
History
Cartoon Network launched in the Netherlands on 17 September 1993. Time-sharing with TNT Classic Movies. It started a 24-hours feed in July 1997.[4]
In 2001 the Dutch version stopped and was replaced by the Pan-European version. The airtime shortened. From then on it broadcast from 6AM till 10PM.[5]
It relaunched as a 24-hours channel on 12 January 2009.[6]
