Cartier Field is a stadium in Notre Dame, Indiana. It hosted the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team until they moved to Notre Dame Stadium in 1930. The stadium held 30,000 people at its peak and was opened in 1889.
Today, the field serves as one of several practice fields for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team, along with Meyo Field in the indoor Loftus Center.[1]
