Carole Skinner (born 1944) is an Australian actress who works mainly in the theatre and is well known to armchair viewers for her roles in many long-running soap operas.

Theatre and Television Credits

Skinner played top dog Nola McKenzie in Prisoner. After a short, but gory reign of terror, Nola was killed by Bea Smith with a zip gun.

Skinner also made appearances in Neighbours (as Laura Dennison), Home and Away, A Country Practice, The Flying Doctors, The Young Doctors (as Dr. Judith Napier) and Sons and Daughters (as Doris Hudson).

Her performances as Olive in Summer of the Seventeenth Doll for the Melbourne Theatre Company in 1977 met with high regard.

Her film appearances include Alvin Purple, Eliza Fraser (1976), My Brilliant Career, Monkey Grip, Heatwave, The Howling III: The Marsupials and Moulin Rouge!.
