Carlo Giacomini

Carlo Giacomini (1840-1898), was a noted Italian anatomist, neuroscientist and a professor at the Turin University. He made major contributions to the field of neuroscience. He worked with the physiologist, Angelo Mosso (1846-1910), which led to the first recording of human brain pulsations. [1]He has a lower limb vein named after him, the Giacomini vein.
