Carla Bodendorf (born 13 August 1953 in Eilsleben) is a German athlete who competed mainly in the 200 metres sprint.
She competed for East Germany in the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal, Canada in the 4 x 100 metres where she won the gold medal with her teammates Marlies Oelsner, 1972 Olympic 100 and 200 metre champion Renate Stecher and Bärbel Eckert[1][2] She finished 4th in the 200 meters in Montreal and was the bronze medallist at the 1978 European Championships, where she also won a bronze as a member of the 4 x 100 meter relay team.[3]
She was a part of two East German 4 x 100 relay teams that held the world record for three years from 1976 to 1979.[4]
