Carentino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region of Piedmont, located about 70 km southeast of Turin and about 15 km southwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 311 and an area of 9.8 km².[1]
Carentino borders the following municipalities: Bergamasco, Borgoratto Alessandrino, Bruno, Frascaro, Gamalero, Mombaruzzo, and Oviglio.
