Cardona is a third class urban municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it had a population of 47,414 inhabitants.[3] Cardona is in District 2 of Rizal.

With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the municipality is now part of Manila's conurbation which reaches Cardona in its easternmost part.
