Capybara Games is an award-winning independent game studio based out of Toronto, Canada. It focuses on the development of iPhone, Nintendo DS, and downloadable console games. The studio was founded in 2003 from a collection of Toronto IGDA members.[1]
Capybara's mascot is a mustachioed man named Hank Hudson, who can be found in most of their games.

Reception
Capybara Games is widely received as an acclaimed developer, for numerous of their projects being well received, with their best received game, Critter Crunch scoring an 87 on Metacritic[2] and receiving a multitude of awards from various organizations such as IGN and Destuctoid. Other games worth mentioning include Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP scoring an 86 on Metacritic snagging numerous awards and Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes for the Nintendo DS scoring an 86[3] making the latter game the fourth best rated Nintendo DS game of 2009.[4]
