Capiago is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 35 km north of Milan and about 6 km southeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,196 and an area of 5.7 km².[1]
Capiago observes the Roman Rite while Intimiano observes the Ambrosian Rite.
The municipality of Capiago contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) olmeda and intimiano.
