Caolán is an Irish name, from the Irish Caol-Fionn meaning "slender and fair". There are several Anglicised spelling variations, including "Keelin", "Keelan", "Kelin" and "Kealan" (usually used for boys), all pronounced /ˈkiːlɨn/ KEE-lin.
