Overview

Founded in August 2001, Canyon News is published by Glenn Kelly. It was adjudicated by the city of Los Angeles. Canyon News has been online since July 21, 2001.

The house in which Canyon News began its publication belonged to Rita Hayworth and Orson Welles in what used to be Welles' writing room. After the publishers realized to whom the house belonged, they decided to mold the newspaper based on Orson Welles' work Citizen Kane. The house is now owned by Ruta Lee, who is a columnist for Canyon News. The Canyon News office is now located on South Beverly Drive.
