Caneva is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 110 km northwest of Trieste and about 15 km west of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,374 and an area of 42.0 km².[1]

Caneva borders the following municipalities: Cordignano, Fontanafredda, Fregona, Polcenigo, Sacile, Sarmede, Tambre.
