Campegine is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 km northwest of Bologna and about 12 km northwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,694 and an area of 22.2 km².[1]
The municipality of Campegine contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Caprara, Case Cocconi, Case Lago, Casinetto-Tagliavino, La Razza, Lago, and Lora.
Campegine borders the following municipalities: Cadelbosco di Sopra, Castelnovo di Sotto, Gattatico, Reggio Emilia, Sant'Ilario d'Enza.
