Calvary Day School (Calvary) is a pre-kindergarten through 12th grade private school located in Savannah, Georgia.

History

The school opened in 1961. In 2007, the school underwent its largest renovation in its history. They constructed a new upper school building adjacent to the original buildings of the school.

Student activities

Athletics

The boys baseball team has won 2 GHSA State Titles in Class-A. On March 8, 2008, the Lady Cavaliers won the Georgia High School Association basketball championship. This was the Lady Cavs first state championship.

Football

Calvary Day had a great 2013 football season, going all the way to the State Championship.[1][2] They have a strong alumni group of supporters. They even played alumni football with Gridiron Alumni Football to help raise money for their team. Calvary Day played Richmond Hill alumni in 2012 and Savannah Christian alumni in 2013.
