Caldo gallego (Galician stew) is a white bean soup dish from Spain.[1] Ingredients include cabbage or other greens, potato and fatty pork. The pork used can vary from sausage to ham or bacon (compango). Served hot as a starter, it is often part of Xantar (noon lunch), and sometimes dinner. Among the peasants usually served in "cuncas".

- Caldo chirlo or vigueiro
