Youth Work

O'Doherty actively encourages the development of young talent and on numerous occasions he has not only offered his advice to bands, he has personally helped them. Recently, O'Doherty has worked with the centre of culture and arts in Derry, the Nerve Centre and he helped to mentor over 30 young people in the inaugural Music Hothouse, which was launched by the Nerve Centre to aid the development of young, raw talent. O'Doherty also hosted many events in the Instinct Festival which is an annual youth festival, celebrating the arts.

Style

Cahir has a distinct approach to interviews and has on many occasions fiercely expressed his opinions, in particular, his abhorrence of the Emo scene.[1]
