Cabine C (Portuguese for "Cabin C") were a Brazilian post-punk band formed in 1986 in São Paulo City, São Paulo. The band primarily consisted of former Titãs member Ciro Pessoa (vocals and guitar), Wania Forghieri (keyboard), and former Akira S e As Garotas Que Erraram members Marinella Setti (drums and percussion) and Anna Ruth dos Santos (bass guitar and backing vocals).

According to Ciro Pessoa, the band has this name in order to evoke the "'C' cabin of a ship who sets sail through the world".[1]

A major influence on the Brazilian underground post-punk scenery, the band was characterized by its gloomy, ethereal Goth-esque instrumentation reminiscent of bands such as The Cure, Bauhaus, The Sisters of Mercy and Joy Division, and Edgar Allan Poe-influenced themes and lyrics.[1] The only work by them was the studio album Fósforos de Oxford (Matches from Oxford), released in 1986 by newly created record label RPM Discos, inaugurated by the homonymous band. However, after RPM's first break-up, the record label closed down, and thus the album suffered from extreme lack of promotion and poor sales, what made Cabine C disband in 1987.[2]

Their song "Tão Perto" ("So Close") is present in the compilation of Brazilian underground post-punk music The Sexual Life of the Savages, released in 2005 by British record label Soul Jazz Records.
