CJNB is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a country music format at 1050 AM in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. The station is owned by Northwestern Radio Partnership. Its local sister stations are CJCQ-FM and CJHD-FM. All three are located at 1711 100th Street in North Battleford.

In 2006, CJNB applied to convert from the AM dial to the FM dial at 102.9 MHz. That application was denied by the CRTC on January 4, 2007.[1]

History and Programming

Since 1947, CJNB has been a reliable daily source for immediate news, sports, weather, agricultural information and community events across Northwest and Central Saskatchewan. With an FM satellite station in Meadow Lake, operating at 50,000 watts, CJNB and CJNS-FM serve a vast area of Canada's best farmland, with a population of more than 80,000. The station also broadcasts hockey games for the Battlefords North Stars of the SJHL.
