The Institute of Scientific and Technological Research of the Armed Forces (CITEFA, Spanish: Instituto de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas de las Fuerzas Armadas), is an Argentine federal agency in charge of the research, development and homologation of armament.
The Agency was moved under the orbit of the Ministry of Defense and renamed Institute of Scientific and Technological Research for the Defense Instituto de Investigación Científicas y Técnicas para la Defensa ( CITEDEF )
