The C20LET is an Opel internal combustion engine. It is a 2.0 litre turbocharged inline four cylinder petrol engine. It displaces 1,998 cubic centimetres (121.9 cu in), has 16 valves, and a timing belt-driven double overhead camshaft (DOHC). It produces a Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) rated motive power output of 150 kilowatts (204 PS; 201 bhp), and generates a torque turning force of 280 newton metres (207 lbf·ft).[1]

The C20LET engine was introduced in 1992, and was fitted to the Vauxhall/Opel Cavalier Turbo and Calibra Turbo. It is similar to the C20XE, apart from the primary addition of a KKK-16 turbocharger,[1] forged 86 millimetres (3.39 in) pistons manufactured by Mahle GmbH, and a Bosch Motronic M2.7 electronic engine control unit.[1]

The engine was commonly coupled to the Getrag six-speed F28 gearbox,[1] and a 4x4 transfer box system. The engine is a popular choice for engine swaps, along with the 2 litre C20XE, and the 2.5 and 3.0 litre V6 C25XE/C30XE and can be found in many other GM variants, as it is a very straight forward 'lego swap' modification with the correct tools. The C20LET and C20XE variation have been retro fitted into many other Vauxhalls including the Nova, Corsa B, Tigra, Corsa C, Vectra B, the Chevrolet/ Daewoo Lacetti and many more variations.
