Bwari is a Local Government Area of the Federal Capital Territory (Nigeria). Its headquarters are in the town of Bwari.
It has an area of 914 km² and a population of 227,216 as at 2006.

The Dorben Polytechnic is located in Garam, a town in near the LGA.[2]
