Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius

Butkevičius Cabinet is the 16. cabinet of Lithuania since 1990. It consists of the Prime Minister, who is Head of Government, and 14 government ministers from the Social Democratic Party of Lithuania, the Labour Party, the Order and Justice, and the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania.[1]

The Prime Minister is nominated by the President and confirmed by Seimas. The current Prime Minister is Algirdas Butkevičius (appointed December 7, 2012).

The Cabinet is the most aged so far in the independent Lithuanian history, with the age average exceeding 54 years during its appointment in 2012.[2]
