Burton is a village in the West Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, and situated approximately 2 miles (3 km) north from the city and county town of Lincoln. The village sits on the side of the Lincoln Cliff overlooking the River Trent Valley.

Burton Grade II listed Anglican church is dedicated to St Vincent.[1]

Many houses in the village are built from the same local limestone as that used in the building of Lincoln Cathedral.[citation needed]
